GRACE CHURCH

GLC students are connected to a church organization with nation-wide leadership placement opportunities and Pastoral training programs. Develop in a church with thriving Spanish and English ministries with global reach.

“Leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Know God

It is our heart that every student would have a personal, life-changing encounter with God that allows them to know His love, grace, and mercy. We know that with God, there is more. We want GLC students to live in God’s more.

Grow Together

We were never intended to live life alone. At GLC we want to navigate the valleys and the mountaintops together. At GLC we don’t just build a community, we build a family that can grow together in faith. Spread the word of God together, all while earning your bible degree!

Find Purpose

We strive to help our students to find their unique purposes and individual gifts. At GLC, students will be able to put their purpose into practice with hands-on pastoral training experiences that will help them make their potential a reality.

Make a Difference

We believe that all of our GLC students are called to change the world, whether it be in the four walls of the church, on the mission field, in business offices, or any other secular position that they can use their evangelism training for good.

FAQ’S

+ Who is GLC for?

Grace Leadership College is for any student ages 18-25. It is for all young people, whether you feel called to become a pastor or if you want to make a difference in the marketplace.

+ What is my application deadline?

July 1 is the preferred deadline to complete the application, but we offer rolling admission throughout the year.

+ How does this benefit me over going to a community college?

When making comparisons between colleges (community college or otherwise), there are typically two factors that are key in the decision-making process: cost and experience. Because SEU AND GLC strive to make college affordable and accessible, we have structured tuition and fees to be comparable with many community college rates. So, the key factor then is the student experience. If your desire for your student is to equip them for life beyond college, then the comparison is really no comparison at all.

+ My student has already earned college credits elsewhere. Will those transfer?

Like all higher education institutions, Southeastern University has specific guidelines on credit acceptance from other colleges. Generally, SEU will accept credits from other regionally-accredited colleges; however, the transferability of credits depends on the student’s academic performance in those prior courses as well as the course equivalency into the student’s degree program at SEU. Please contact the Office of the Registrar (registrar@seu.edu) with specific questions pertaining to transfer of credits.

+ Can my student receive financial aid?

The SEU partner program does afford students the opportunity to apply for financial aid. The most common financial aid awards available are the federal Pell grant, subsidized and unsubsidized student loans, the parent PLUS loan.

+ What are the requirements to attend GLC?

Grace Leadership College (ages 18-25) is a ministry program to train up quality and uncompromising leaders for vocational ministry. This means that we are careful to select the right individuals for the right reasons. Grace Leadership College enrolls students who show exemplary standards of servant leadership, academic excellence, and spiritual maturity. They are expected to maintain these standards of excellence while attending the program and recieving their bible degrees. Students must apply to Grace Leadership College as a ministry training program as well as apply to SEU in order to be accepted.

+ What is the regular schedule like for a GLC student?

Grace Leadership College will operate four days a week where students will be immersed in the culture of Grace Church, gain practical pastoral training, and work towards their Bachelors or Associates degree. Students will have Fridays and Saturdays off. In addition to this, students will be required to serve on Sunday’s at Grace Church as part of their course.

+ Can I hold a job while I attend GLC?

Students are allowed to hold a part-time job while they attend Grace Leadership College as long as their work schedule does not interfere with academic and ministry expectations. Grace Leadership College must be the student's primary commitment.

+ Is GLC accredited?

Grace Leadership College is a ministry of Grace Church. Grace Church partners with SEU University as our educational provider, and accredited christian college. SEU University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. For more information regarding SEUUniversity’s accreditation, visit www.seu.edu/accreditation.
